I find it a bit difficult to find the active tab in the tab strip. The active tab is only slightly darker than the others. When I spot the difference, I sometimes compare it to the one directly to the right and conclude that the bright one must be the active one :). I've closed the wrong tab several times today.

Not sure if it's just me, I figured I should at least bring it to your attention.
