MacOS tab rendering issue |
||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 67.0.3396.99 OS: MacOS 10.13.5 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Plug in a MacOS laptop into a docking station with an external monitor (2) Resize a Chrome browser window to take advantage of the space on the monitor (3) Unplug your laptop from the external monitor What is the expected result? The Chrome window is still usable normally. What happens instead? A strange horizontal gap gets inserted between the Chrome application window and the start of the tab strip. In extreme cases, this significantly cuts off the content area. The tab strip positioning can be restored by making Chrome fullscreen and exiting fullscreen mode again.

Thanks for the feedback. Can you please try latest Canary, if you can repro it there too? I think we had a similar issue and this was fixed already. Thanks.

Yup, sounds like Issue 850829 This will probably not repro in Canary right now since MacViews is on by default. #views-browser-windows and #upcoming-ui-features would need to be disabled.

Open a new bug if this is still an issue with MacViews. |
