network pane '"search headers and response bodies" takes up too much room in UI

Reported by davidmax...@gmail.com, Jul 9

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.99 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. open debug tools
2. select network panel
3. type something in the 'filter' input

What is the expected behavior?
no wasted space by the 'search headers and response bodies for' UI

What went wrong?
It wastes space by adding this bar to the UI. I didn't used to have my screen real-estate wasted in this way.

Did this work before? Yes

Chrome version: 67.0.3396.99 Channel: stable
OS Version:
Flash Version:

Surely there is a better way that doesn't use up so much space (eg another checkbox next to the filter input?).

this is the UI element to which I refer

This has been removed in the latest DevTools. Definitely in Chrome 69, maybe 68 too.

thx for reporting tho!
