My workaround $ chromium --use-gl=egl 2>&- The 2>&- is to eliminate the thousands of https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=901831 messages.

Apologies for the late reply. Looks like this bug slipped through and nobody looked at it. I would suggest filing a bug for this with the Debian Chromium package. It is their package that is missing the swiftshader bits. We do not provide the package. If the Debian Chromium package maintainers say this is an upstream issue, then please let us know and we can re-open this bug and investigate what we can do on our side.

OK instead I got rid of the bad(?) hardware.

Probably just older hardware that requires SwiftShader. |
