Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10820.0.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3473.0 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10820.0.0 (Official Build) dev-channel fizz-unibuild Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. open a Crostini container app like caja or libreoffice 2. grab a corner of the window and resize smaller 3. or grab the corner and increase and then decrease the size of the window What is the expected behavior? Should just make the window bigger or smaller What went wrong? If you try to make a window too small, the content of the window freezes. Sometimes if you make a window bigger and immediately start making it smaller, the content portion of the window freezes. That is the view in the attached screenshot. Note that the container is smaller than the frozen content. The frame generally is still responsive to sizing controls, but the contents of the window remain frozen (screenshot attached). I've noticed that this also affects other stuff as well. For instance, Downloads and Recent disappeared from the Files App (screenshot attached). Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 69.0.3473.0 Channel: dev OS Version: 10820.0.0 Flash Version: 30.0.0.127 I currently have my resolution set to a non-standard setting (1680x1050) since I'm also experiencing the "washed out display" bug at standard resolution (1920x1080). I can't really test at default resolution since I can't see the edges of the windows at that setting.

Is this still a problem on the latest dev channel build? I'm unable to reproduce this.

Sorry, I just noticed your question. No, this problem has not recurred lately. I do have a different problem resizing crostini windows. This happens on my Lenovo 500e which is presently on beta (70.0.3538.41). When I grab a corner to drag it, the cursor moves more than the corner does. IOW, the window gets larger, but not as large as the cursor. It can take several grab and drags to get the window resized. I will note that it doesn't always do it. At the moment it is not misbehaving. I can make a new bug report unless this is sufficient.

I'll close this one and if you can reproduce the new issue you describe, please open a new bug and provide a movie of it if you can.

Ok. Is there a simple command for making a movie similar to screenshot, or do I need to grab an app or extension? There have been a couple things I would've reported if I was aware of a quick easy way to record the issue. If a pic is worth a thousand words, a movie can be 10x that. Thanks! |
