chromiumos-sdk fails with internal error |

Issue descriptionChromiumos-sdk builder has been red since June 18. https://cros-goldeneye.corp.google.com/chromeos/legoland/builderHistory?buildConfig=chromiumos-sdk&buildBranch=master Most of them passed all the test but failed at the CleanupChroot stage. Because of this, we could not update toolchain changes.

This is after all of the stages have run so it shouldn't be affecting updating the toolchain, unless I'm misunderstanding.

My change to upgrade llvm version https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromiumos/overlays/chromiumos-overlay/+/1118710 landed in Jun 28. Current llvm version inside chroot is still 7.0_pre331547_p20180529-r2

I don't understand how this bug could block toolchain upgrades: it only affects the status that we store in CIDB; the CL's getting uprev'd should have happened anyway.

Yunlian: Running update_chroot installed sys-devel/llvm-7.0_pre331547_p20180529-r4 for me. Is your chroot synced to ToT?

Sorry, after sync to TOT, the toolchain upgrade showed up there. |
