Task manager goes black after GPU crash |

Issue descriptionChrome Version: Canary69.0.3483.0 OS: Win10 Features: VizDisplayCompositor What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Open task manager (2) Kill GPU process What is the expected result? Task manager should recover GPU crash. What happens instead? Task manager goes black after GPU crash and nothing seems to help (resizing, minimizing, etc)

Yes, this still happens. I think it's related to https://crbug.com/791660 .

I can't reproduce this anymore. I'm not sure what would have fixed it though, which is a bit concerning.

I bisected builds to figure out when this stopped occurring. I found that 93fb1b7fb59d331ae1a64e8bdae0f408890839e5 is where the black window after killing GPU process stopped reproducing. I was also able to verify that change wasn't the actual problem, it just changed the timing enough to cause the race described in https://crbug.com/791660#c4 to not longer happen regularly. |
