I believe, my CL has exposed a previously existing race condition in an existing test, compare my analysis in 
https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=860445

In that sense, Findit did expose a useful result, and is not completely wrong, but blaming my CL for it is perhaps not the most accurate pinpointing here.
