Writing mode right to left text cursor issue

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.42 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. go to google.com 2. right click on the search bar which is right above "google search . I'm feeling lucky" and change writing direction from left ot right ot right to left 3. type What is the expected behavior? the text cursor should be on the end of the sentence which the text is being produced at What went wrong? however it is on the left front of the sentence. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 68.0.3440.42 Channel: beta OS Version: OS X 10.13.5 Flash Version: not a major problem however it's a minor issue

Thanks for filing the issue! Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 68.0.3440.42 and on the latest canary 69.0.3486.0 using Mac 10.13.1, windows 10 and Ubuntu 14.04. As the issue is seen from M60(60.0.3112.0) considering it as Non-Regression and marking it as Untriaged. Note: Tentatively adding component "Blink>Forms>Text", please change if this isn't apt.

This is not a wrong behavior. In RTL mode, new text proceeds in right-to-left direction unless strong LTR characters are inserted. So the text caret is on the left side of the existing text. Inserting strong LTR characters like Latin alphabet is an exceptional case.
