Empty expanded candidates layout shows after special steps

Version 69.0.3480.0(Official build) canary (32-bit)
Platform 10845.0.0（official build) canary-channel kevin
Firmware Google_Kevin.8785.264.0


REPRO STEPS:
1.Switch to Pinyin keyboard.
2.Type something to make candidates&Down-arrow icon display.
3.Click Down-arrow icon (to go into the expanded candidates layout).
4.Touch among expanded candidates several times.


Actual result:
Empty expanded candidates layout shows, and no Up-arrow display.

Expected:
The expanded candidates layout close automatically, since there's no any expanded candidate.
