Chrome Version: Canary 69.0.3481.0
OS: macOS 10.13.5 (but probably OS=All)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open some tabs in a window
(2) Focus the very right tab
(3) Now close one tab after another by clicking on the tab close button, starting from the very left
What is the expected result?
The moving tabs to the left should stay in the background and the closing process should not hang.
What happens instead?
After closing the second or third tab, the following moving tab to the left comes to the foreground and the close button doesn't react on clicks.
A screencast is attached.
Thanks for looking into this issue,
Mehmet
