Having the BVCContainerVC be the VC that's presented on top of the tab grid (and not the BVC itself) causes lots of annoying problems. One example is not being able to get named guides from the presented VC (because they're attached to the BVC, not the BVC's superview). 

Ideally we wouldn't need this extra wrapper layer.
