D3D11 video decoder might have size limits |
|
Issue descriptionI have seen SubmitDecoderBuffers fail with 0x887601E0 which is DDERR_TOOBIGSIZE. From searching, it looks like it means "The size requested by DirectDraw is too large. However, the individual height and width are valid sizes." I saw this while playing the sintel video here: https://shaka-player-demo.appspot.com/demo/#asset=https://storage.googleapis.com/shaka-demo-assets/sintel-mp4-only/dash.mpd;lang=en-US;build=compiled Somehow, when I let the player adapt to 4K it triggers this error but not when I'm manually changing resolutions to 4K. (I got this with a hacked build where I was running this on D3D11.0 not 11.1 so this problem might not exist on 11.1) |
