History dont remember recently closed tabs

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.99 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. wait for losing tabs (unable to restore by ctrl+shift+T) 2. search for days in history to find those What is the expected behavior? Tabs are remembered in history by CLOSE date, not by OPEN. What went wrong? Some people had tabs opened since a year. I wish you luck to find them in history. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 67.0.3396.99 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version:

siwego@Thanks for the issue... Tried to reproduce the issue on latest chrome stable 70.0.3538.67 using Windows 7. Steps: --------- 1. Launched chrome 2. Navigated to multiple sites in same tab and different tabs 3. Navigated to chrome://history As we are observed that history tabs are remember only open time @Reporter: As we don't have have days of history to test this, Could you please check the process we followed and please let us know if anything missed from our end. As there isn't any Feedback from reporter since long time, hence closing it and marking it as Won't Fix. @Reporter: Feel free to file a new one if the issue is seen again. Thanks!

Steps were tested at version 70.0.3538.110. Issue still persists - closing tab does not make history entries. If tab was opened month ago - it is lost to find. |
