i have opted for beta program but in play store web veiw is listed as disabled is this correct regards darrell

THIS TEMPLATE IS FOR FILING BUGS ON THE ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW. GENERAL WEB
BUGS SHOULD BE FILED USING A DIFFERENT TEMPLATE!

I assume you are on Android N (7.0.0) or higher. If this is true, then this is correct behavior. See  issue 697382  for more information.

You can again join the beta program by downloading Chrome beta and selecting that as your WebView provider. The full instructions are here: https://www.chromium.org/developers/androidwebview/android-webview-beta
