Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.99 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Download a file 2. Select "Open in Folder" What is the expected behavior? Opens the download folder in Nautilus with the file selected. What went wrong? Opens the download folder in Nautilus but does not select the file. Did this work before? Yes 2016 commit 4e6a58a6ab3798ad62bb3db33bb9fafcbd3a64df Chrome version: 67.0.3396.99 Channel: stable OS Version: Fedora 28 Flash Version: This works in firefox, just not in chrome. This also works when I run, nautilus -s ~/Downloads/random.file This following ticket seems to suggest that this is supported by chrome https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=352988 Looking at the code, I think the issue might be in platform_util_linux.cc. When I execute: xdg-mime query default inode/directory I get: org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop NOT: nautilus.desktop Is the best way to get this fixed just to submit a patch?

Unable to reproduce issue on reported chrome version 67.0.3396.99 and latest chrome version 69.0.3481.0 Using Ubuntu 14.04 and 17.10.As this issue related to Fedora 28. As ET team does not have the Fedora 28.Hence routing this issue to Inhouse team for further triaging it, adding TE-NeedsTriageFromHYD label. Thanks.!

Tested the issue on chrome Stable #67.0.3396.99, Canary 69.0.3482.0 in Linux and was able to reproduce the issue. Please find the screen shot for reference. This is a Non-Regression issue since seeing this from M60 #60.0.3072.0, Making the status to Untriaged so that the issue would get addressed. Note : Not able to reproduce the issue in MAC 10.12 and windows 10.Seems this issue is similar to issue 352988.cc'ing respective dev. Thank you. |
