Reported by billdill...@gmail.com, Jul 3

Issue description

Steps to reproduce the problem:
Chrome for Android, open the menu and fling so you hit the bottom of the menu, the ripple is not the correct color and is basically invisible, it is supposed to be dark. See attached screenshot

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
To see how this is supposed to work/look like, try it in Firefox for Android

Did this work before? N/A

Thanks for filing this issue !

@bildillensrevenge: Could you be more specific about the issue as we are not sure whether the ripple effect is for menu list or the background word 'Canada' as in the screen-shot provided by you.
Also please provide device details, chrome version & screen-cast of the issue for better understanding .

Thanks!

It is for the menu list, using The latest Canary on an Android 8.0 phone, enable the modern UI flag. Tap the menu and fling scroll down, you should see a dark ripple underneath “Help & feedback” to indicate you have hit the bottom of the menu list, but you don’t see that.

Issue seems to be feature request as we are able to see ripples in mozilla but in chrome no ripples are seen even after enabling the modern UI flag.

Hence updating the bug accordingly for further inputs on this.

Thanks!
