newest update of chrome caused m;y toshiba chromebook sleep mode to crash and it wont start up without shutting down first

1. computer goes to sleep
2. open or hit a key
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
It should come back on

What went wrong?
screen stays black

Did this work before? Yes verson prior to june 26 2018

Chrome 70 is now the stable release. Is this issue still occurring?
