Create an opt-in try bot mirroring Android CFI |
|||||
Issue descriptionhttps://ci.chromium.org/buildbot/chromium.memory/Android%20CFI/ is a main waterfall memory bot, but it doesn't have a corresponding try bot as far as I can tell. It should have one (opt-in).

Looks like it already exists? https://ci.chromium.org/buildbot/tryserver.chromium.android/android_cfi_rel_ng/

Maybe it only needs to be added to https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/refs/meta/config/buildbucket.config then? The "CHOOSE TRYBOTS" selector on gerrit doesn't have it. I thought I had searched for |"android cfi" file:try| on cs.chromium.org before filling this, but now that I try again I found the config (and https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/tools/build/+/924608 which added it). So apologies for the bad bug report. hzl, let me know if you want to add the bot to buildbucket.config, or assign to me if you'd rather I do it. (It always takes me a while to figure out how to upload reviews to that ref, but I've managed to do it before.)

Yeah, since it's not on luci it'll have to be added manually. You can try using gerrit's inline editor. It's pretty barebones, but comes in handy when editing nonstandard refs like that. Step #5 under https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/6f01678cff4c85afc3c39eb487ae5ebb071b3a72/docs/gpu/gpu_testing_bot_details.md#how-to-add-a-new-manually_triggered-trybot should outline how to do that. Zhiling, can you take care of that?

I gave it a try: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1128582
