slide down scroll bar in preview of network section in google chrome not working.

Reported by yusufali...@gmail.com, Jun 28 2018

Issue description

THIS TEMPLATE IS FOR FILING BUGS ON THE ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW. GENERAL WEB
BUGS SHOULD BE FILED USING A DIFFERENT TEMPLATE!

Device name: Lenovo G580
OS: Windows 8
WebView version (from system settings -> Apps -> Android System WebView):
Application:Google Chrome
Application version:67.0.3396.99 (Official Build) (64-bit)

URLs (if applicable):

Steps to reproduce:
(1)Create any ajax call that will return an internal server error with error code 500.(as in my case I had an internal server error with error code 500.)
(2)Check the preview of that XHR request in network section.
(3)The slide down scroll bar is not working to scroll down the preview, please check the attachment to understand it clearly.

Expected result:
The slide down scroll bar for the preview in network section should scroll down the page.

Actual result:
The slide down scroll bar is not working.

This error was produced while working with localhost on google chrome on my laptop. If you can please generate any internal server error and preview this in network section.

OS - Windows 8
Browser - Version 67.0.3396.99 (Official Build) (64-bit)

The issue I generated is categorised under android. But this error was generated on Lenovo G580 laptop with the OS and browser mentioned above.
I think this is a devtools issue. It's certainly not Android WebView.

As per comment 5, seems to be related to OS-Windows. Hence adding appropriate label for further triaging.

Thanks!
I can also confirm the issue. Scrolling does not work when previewing HTML rendered output.

Windows 7
Chrome Version 67.0.3396.99 (Official Build) (64-bit)
DevTools > Network > Preview tab

Reporter@ - As per comment #2, could you please provide a sample test file/url to test the issue from TE-end. This will help us in triaging the issue further.

Thanks...!!
Hi, I have the same issue. Running Chrome 67 on Windows 7. Any HTML rendered in the preview tab of Chrome's DevTools cannot be scrolled.
I have been running into the same issue for about 2 months now. I'm on Chrome 67.0.3396.99 on Mac OS High Sierra. I have actually not found the issue to be specific to a 500 response, but the first time I encountered it was a Symfony2 application exception like the screenshot from OP.

I just tested it on our live application and our staging server and found it to be the case with a variety of responses containing HTML content whether XHR requests or not.

Unfortunately the parts of the application which are displaying the problem are only for authenticated uses and our registration system is by invite only via the teams that schools in our program use. I can send you an invitation at krajshree@chromium.org if you would like, plus instructions on where to see the issue.
I have the same problem and I'm using Mac OS High Sierra
This issue is not specific to Ajax Internal server error, I mentioned this error referencing to the first time I faced this issue. Slide down scroll bar will not work for any response with HTML content wether its xhr request or not. The section in my applicatiom which is displaying this error requires authentication. I will try to create same error on my portfolio page and share the link.
