Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.99 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Can be reproduced even on composing a new message in GMail, I am also attaching static HTML example Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. In a text area of limited height 2. Press Ctrl+End to move to the last line 3. Press Ctrl+Home to move to the first line 4. Press Enter (or paste text with a newline from clipboard) What is the expected behavior? A new line is added at the top of the text and it is visible on the screen. What went wrong? A new line is added at the top of the text, but it is not visible on the screen as the vertical stroll position is updated to conceal the added line above the top visible line. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes Not sure, it seems to have appeared several months ago Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 67.0.3396.99 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: I've checked the behavior with the file attached in the fresh latest canary - still reproduces.

Scroll to reveal selection is implemented in FrameSelection::RevealSelection() actual scroll is done by LayoutObject::ScrollRectToVisible(LayoutRec,t options) with passing FrameSelection::ComputeRectToScroll(). |
