Original reporter didn't describe the issue very clearly: Steps to reproduce: 1) Open Chrome and go to some website where it is possible to download a pdf (for example one of my websites: http://www.eightalbertembankment.com/ , scroll down to link "DOWNLOAD EVENT FLYER") 2) Click the link. What happens: 3) pdf opens in Windows assigned pdf viewer (often Adobe Acrobat, in Windows default settings Edge, can be set to Chrome - in which case the Chrome starts opening new tabs as fast as it can and has to be killed through Windows Task Manager) What is expected: 3) Download bar appears in the bottom of the Chrome Window, where one can select what to do next. (Like in the video) The link starts download correctly in some of the PC-s I tested and in all other browsers. Why it is problem for me: a) Privacy issues - in the open office I don't want to show the document on the screen b) No easy way to find the document - I have to close the Acrobat, open Win Explorer separately, navigate to Downloads and then search for the pdf. Thank you!

I have tested this on various setups. It does not repro for me on the following: Win10 M67, M68, M69 Linux M67 Win7 M68, M69 It does however repro on Win7 M67. I do not know what the root cause of this bug is, and given that it is resolved in M68 onwards and M67 is stable already, I am inclined to close this bug. |
