It's feature request.
Correctly, we haven't store recent used emoji in storage.

just verified on my chromebook, recent emoji seems to work, will ask QA for more details.

PS: find another bug that recent emojis' order didn't persist, fixed in cl/221433830.

for #1, can you check if there's any error log in console? and also the content of localstorage, which is at console(ctrl-shift-i)->Application->LocalStorage.

For #1, no any error log in console, but i see typed emojis are recorded under localstorage.

Typed emojis will be re-found when i switch back to the InputView (which means：InputView, typed emojis restored in Recent tab -> Switch to A11y,typed emojis miss from Recent tab ->Switch back to InputView, typed emojis re-found in Recent tab).

Just found:
Issue #1 repro if sign in Chromeos with @chromium account.
 Issue #2  repro if sign in Chromeos with @google account.

for #1, I seems not able to repro it, is this issue only happen on bob? can you record a video for that?
