Issue descriptionChrome version: 67.0.3396.99 (Mac) URL: https://chromeperf.appspot.com/report?sid=25efc552268efd4cc519cc1eb8d682c4f3dcc2a4812bd4853034aff487fdf382 See the link above. system_health.common_desktop does not have any data for Mac for over a month. Any clue what happened?

+eakuefner, eyaich Data has been uploading since then, just not that specific metric: https://chromeperf.appspot.com/report?sid=641cfec9c1113b40e1d64dc96e9fcbbe41f6a5d095841ec6fa5acf02ac8e90a9 So benchmark_duration was a metric output by chartjson, histograms swapped that for benchmark_total_duration when histogram output was enabled back in mid-May. Both benchmark_duration and benchmark_total_duration will be gone soon, eyaich@ is removing them due to conflicts with the one-buildbot-step implementation. Is there a reason you're looking at benchmark_duration? I thought that was a telemetry specific metric for benchmarking team purposes.

There is no particular reason to pick benchmark_duration except to expect that such a metric is collected for every run. If the UI would have warned with *No Data* like it does for the benchmark tier, it would be clear something else is going on.

I think the right thing is to add something like a benchmark health status report page. The report would show stats like: how many test paths have no data, on which bots, how many tests are disabled, etc.. Meanwhile I think this bug should be closed? |
