Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. go to any website such as http://example.com/a-long-url-goes-here 2. select only part of the URL, including the beginning, such as "http://example.com" 3. copy and paste into a text file 4. the entire URL is pasted. What is the expected behavior? the portion selected will be copied to the clipboard What went wrong? the entire URL is copied to the clipboard when only part is selected Did this work before? Yes not sure, but within 6 months Chrome version: 67.0.3396.87 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.13.5 Flash Version: - Does not effect Windows versions of Chrome. - Is not a problem if you select a chunk in the middle of the url See this thread: https://productforums.google.com/forum/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer#!msg/chrome/hQ6CLIbF17s/JxBfbXipBwAJ
