Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3474.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. type your keyword for a "YouTube Search Engine" into the omnibox 2. press SPACE & type in the requested query 3. Chrome uses Google Search suggestions not Youtube suggestions and erroneusly includes the keyword for "YouTube Search Engine" as part of the search query itself What is the expected behavior? Suggestions should appear just as they appear when using the search box on YouTube.com website. Also, the "search engine keyword" should not be a part of the query. What went wrong? Chrome uses Google Search suggestions not Youtube suggestions and erroneusly includes the keyword for "YouTube Search Engine" as part of the search query itself Did this work before? No Chrome version: 69.0.3474.0 Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Since YouTube is a Google company, this should be doable right?

As per comment #0, this seems to be a feature request. Hence, marking it as untriaged for further inputs from dev team. Thanks...!!

This is a good idea. I've often had the same complaint. Your report gave me the energy to file an internal request (b/110950960) against YouTube for this feature. |
