Issue descriptionChrome Version: 69.0.3473.0 (Official Build)Revision cd23eb9e98a965ea157e23052bb62553e5d520d5-refs/branch-heads/3473@{#1} (32/64-bit) OS: Windows(7,8,8.1,10) Steps to reproduce: 1.Launch chrome and hover mouse on close ('x') of NTP. 2.Observe the highlight on close ('x') of NTP. Actual Result : Red highlight is not seen on close ('x') of NTP. Expected Result :Red highlight should be seen on close ('x') of NTP. This is a Non-regression issue seen from ‘M-69’ series(#69.0.3473.0). Note:Pardon me if it's an intended change but for closing NTP there should be some sort of highlight so that user can easily close it. Kindly review the attached screen-cast . Thank You!

From the video, it appears that the red highlight doesn't appear on any pages (NTP, about:version, etc.). This looks like a regression. I'm requesting a bisect. Also, I'm modifying the components, as this doesn't have to do with the omnibox or the NTP.

This is part of the Refresh spec. That said, there are other open bugs on tab highlight/glyph colors in refresh, so not everything is perfect. But eliminating red was intentional. |
