Issue description

Chrome Version: 67.0.3396.87
OS: MacOS 10.11

What happens instead?

Tested this issue on Mac OS 10.13.3 on the reported version 67.0.3396.87 and the latest Canary .0.3472.3 and unable to reproduce the issue.

Cannot observe any grey strip below the omnibox or bookmarks bar on Mac.
Attached is the screen shot for reference.

Can you please confirm if this issue is observed on Mac OS 10.11, which will help in further triaging.

- if they disable all extensions?
