Recently, we have some issue with the perf custom merge script ( issue 854676 ). The fact that the collect step log include all the shard log make it too big & very hard to get to the custom merge script log at the end. e.g: https://logs.chromium.org/v/?s=chrome%2Fbb%2Fchromium.perf%2Flinux-perf%2F276%2F%2B%2Frecipes%2Fsteps%2Fperformance_test_suite_on_NVIDIA_GPU_on_Linux%2F0%2Fstdout
Our builbot page is getting a little much, but we could add a dump of just the output from the collect step into an additional logdog stream and link it from the page.
