videx.diplo.de doesn't respond

Project Member Reported by rohi...@chromium.org, Jun 22 2018

Google Chrome	67.0.3396.87 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Revision	878cd31214ac27a3996927cd5c9c138b10c9fc8d-refs/branch-heads/3396@{#771}
Platform	10575.55.0 (Official Build) stable-channel eve
Firmware Version	Google_Eve.9584.107.0
Customization ID	GOOGLE-EVE

https://videx.diplo.de/videx/desktop/index.html#start

Scrolling doesn't work.
No response to any clicks.

Basically can't do anything on the site.

This is not a regression from M66 but a huge blocker for anyone using this site. I think this is ChromeOS specific. Worked on Mac OS X Chrome but someone needs to reconfirm.

I'm not sure who's best person to look at this. Scroll looks strange on touch devices, but I can't figure out if it's Blink or the site.

My confirmation below:
* On Samsung Chromebook (w/touch screen), I can touch-drag to scroll, but not by touchpad.
* Win10 on ThinkPad (w/touch screen), very little scroll is possible from the first screen, the rests are not viewable.
* Win10 desktop is fine.

I couldn't quite reproduce this either. But I do see different scroll intertia and what not. Obviously the website has its own scrolling logic to some extent maybe to implement smooth scroll or something. I don't know why they would need such a thing though. bokan@ do you have any idea about this?

This is a strange site but works for me as expected. The <html> tag has a .x-no-touch-scroll and .x-viewport class that sets touch-action: none so touch scrolling doesn't work for me. Changing this to auto fixes touch scrolling.

At that point, I start getting console errors - they're trying to preventDefault TouchMoves from a passive event listener. I'm guessing this is the passive event listener intervention.

Wheel scrolling (from touchpad) works just fine for me. rohitbm@, does wheel scrolling not work for you? Could you please try again on dev/canary channel. If it's still broken, please attach here a trace using these instructions: https://www.chromium.org/developers/how-tos/submitting-a-performance-bug.

Assigning to sahel@ to followup since I'm OOO for the next few weeks.
