Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3469.3 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. in settings scroll to bottom in advanced menu and the warning appears as per the files I've included. 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? I should not see a warning about Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit being incompatible. I only see this warning in Canary, not my standard version of Chrome, What went wrong? Nothing as long as I do not run the 'find and remove harmful software' If I do run the remove software, it removes MBAE. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 69.0.3469.3 Channel: canary OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: I had posted this bug before and it was closed. I believe it was closed by mistake as I had erroneously reported that it was fixed. What had happened is I had run the 'remove harmful software' and hadn't realized that Canary had deleted MBAE. As soon as I reinstalled MBAE the warning in settings came back. Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit is a low impact security software which protects against zero day exploits. This warning in Canary is not present in my standard version 67.0.3396.87 of Chrome. |
