Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. go to this demo https://codepen.io/anon/pen/xzjMpe 2. try to select "left text" 3. It doesn't work! What is the expected behavior? User should be able to select the text What went wrong? I think it's a bug. Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? gm.enoh@ Thanks for the issue. Able to reproduce this issue on Windows 10, Mac OS 10.13.5 and Ubuntu 17.10 on the reported version 67.0.3396.87 and the latest Canary 69.0.3469.3 as per the original comment. On navigating to the link https://codepen.io/anon/pen/xzjMpe and while trying to select 'left text', unable to select the text. Attached is the screen cast for reference. This is a Non-Regression issue as this behavior is observed from M-60 chrome builds. Hence marking this as Untriaged for further updates from Dev. Thanks..

Mark WontFix since "pointer-event:none" CSS property is applied. Note: Edge and Firebox select them. |
