Go to GPU driver settings, video color settings 2. Change color parameters, like saturation, contrast, etc. 3. Open video in YT on MS Edge and open the same video in Chromium based browser. What is the expected behavior? Overridden video color settings should be respected as it was set in gpu driver settings What went wrong? +sunnyps and zmo for Windows video color settings. If the NVIDIA control panel is updating actual Windows settings, then we should probably listen to them. It's also likely that the NVIDIA control panel manually adjusts the behavior of only some certain apps.

I was trying to check with --disable-accelerated-video-decode and disabled Use hardware acceleration when available. The result is the same, no change.

I suspect this is because Chrome uses the VP9 stream from Youtube whereas Edge uses the h264 stream. Your GPU seems to support hardware accelerated h264 decode, and I suspect the Nvidia settings only apply to that. Can you test this video in both Chrome and Edge, and tell us if you can still see a difference: http://crosvideo.appspot.com/?codec=h264&resolution=1080&loop=true&mute=true You can also try using the h264ify extension for Youtube: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/h264ify/aleakchihdccplidncghkekgioiakgal?hl=en-US Keep in mind that this is not an official google extension so be aware of the risks of installing third party extensions.
