Let Chrome getUserMedia support multiple channel microphone input like 4 channel

Hi Olka and Max,

We have an example of using getUserMedia to get microphone input.
On pixelbook, the microphone device has 4-channel.
We would like to know if it is possible to get 4-channel input through getUserMedia API.
Currently we can only get 2-channel.

The purpose of this webapp is for factory to check whether all four microphone module are functional in release image.

Currently we only support up to two channels, since that what the audio processing code supports. I guess you don't care about the WebRTC audio processing for your purposes though. I think there is work being planned to support more channels, I'll let solenberg@ comment on that.
