Youtube Video Quality

From "Settings > About Chrome"
Application version:
Operating system:

URLs (if applicable):https://www.youtube.com

Steps to reproduce:
(1) Select video and change the quality to 720HD.
(2) Close out of tab whilst opening new one and go to youtube.
(3) Select video but it is not in said quality in the closed tab.

Expected result: The quality stays the same, not reverts back.
