[MdRefresh] Background bottom tab corners render differently when you hover horizontally or vertically in/out

Project Member Reported by meh...@chromium.org, Jun 21 2018

Issue description

Chrome Version: Canary 69.0.3468.0
OS: macOS 10.13.4 but probably OS=All

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open some tabs
(2) Hover over the second tab vertically in/out
(3) Hover between the second and third tab horizontally in/out
(4) Compare the bottom corners when doing Step 2 and Step 3

What is the expected result?
I think they should not be round in Step 3 like in Step 2

What happens instead?
They are round in Step 3

A screenshot and screencast is a attached.

Thanks
Mehmet

Hopefully fixed on trunk

Unfortunately not. It is the same CL in bug 854371 , which should have fixed bug 853240 , which wasn‘t also fixed on trunk. Not sure if something wrong in my downloaded trunk builds (special running experiment?). Maybe I should wait for one of the next official Canary builds, but I thought it already should have been land in latest Canary yet :(

This is what I get for not watching your video closely. Not fixed, but also not slated to be fixed soon. This is reported in bug 854722, comment 0, paragraph 3.
