Wrong radio button is selected when using browser back and forward buttons.

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to "google.com" in a new tab. 2. Open the attached radiobtn.html file in same tab. 3. Select a non default value "dewey". 4. Go back using browser back button. 5. Go forward using browser forward button. What is the expected behavior? Default selected value should be selected after using forward button. What went wrong? Previously selected value is still selected after using forward button. Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 67.0.3396.87 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.13.4 Flash Version: This issue is not happening in Firefox

I managed to fix this by putting "autocomplete='off'" on radio buttons. However autocomplete attribute does not apply to radio buttons according to this: https://www.w3.org/TR/html5/sec-forms.html#does-not-apply

This works as intended. We try to restore the last state of a page in back-forward navigation. |
