Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 67.0.3396.87 also on latest chrome 69.0.3466.0 using Mac 10.13.5, Ubuntu 17.10 and Windows 10.

Same behavior is seen on M60(60.0.3112.113) hence considering it as non-regression and marking it as Untriaged.

Thanks!

Seems like autoplay related?
According to comment #2: "Same behavior is seen on M60(60.0.3112.113)". If that's the case, it can't be related to autoplay as the policy only launched in 67.
Ah missed that, thanks, will take a closer look.

This looks like WebRTC actually, since it's video chat.

affarone2@/phanindra.mandapaka@: Can you explain what the bug consists of?

I entered https://www.ciaoamigos.it/videochat, but it was not clear to me at all what the correct behavior should have been.

Also, the website uses Flash, not HTML5 APIs.
It does not play internal sound

Since the issue is audio output passing to audio team for further triage.

affarone2 / phanindra.mandapaka:

According to the repro steps there should be some audio when navigated to the
named website, is that correct? Or should one join a video call? Please clarify the steps and what is expected to hear. (Other person's voice, music, etc.) I'm not sure what "internal sound" means.
When I turn on the webcam microphone the person watching my cam hears only
the music I am listening to.
On my computer I have selected internal audio so who looks at my cam just
hears the mp3 music that I'm just listening to.
With firefox it works with chrome and chormium is not heard.

affarone2: where do you select "internal audio"? In the web application, flash, Chrome, or Windows? (You can attach a screenshot that shows it if wish.)
I'm closing this bug soon as there is not enough info to act on.

affarone2: please reply to comment #18 if you wish to keep the bug open.
I solved the problem by putting the Pulseaudio folder in a folder created
with the name Pulseaudio Off. Now it works. The only problem is that the
audio can no longer be selected from the desktop icon but I have to raise /
lower it from Alsamixer.
Do you know a way to use Alsamixer only by deactivating Pulseaudio?

Closing as we don't have enough information.

(Sorry, can't help with Alsamixer.)
