Address bar loses focus when arrow keys used |
||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10718.4.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.4 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10718.4.0 (Official Build) dev-channel eve Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Focus on address bar (Ctrl-L, click on it, or new tab) 2. Press any arrow key 3. Observe address bar loses focus What is the expected behavior? Up/down arrow keys should allow navigation among suggested websites/searches Left/right arrow keys should move cursor through current address bar contents What went wrong? Instead of allowing arrow keys to navigate, the address bar completely loses focus. This is disruptive to workflow as I typically just use the keyboard to navigate quickly. This seems to happen in waves - e.g. it will occur for a while, then not occur for a while, and then back. Does not occur on my corp workstation (Goobuntu desktop). Did this work before? Yes Unsure. Chrome version: 68.0.3440.4 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10718.4.0 Flash Version: 30.0.0.105 /opt/google/chrome/pepper/libpepflashplayer.so

I don't believe it would be an extension as it doesn't reproduce on my desktop, just my Pixelbook. Its happening right now - if I open a new tab an try to use the arrow keys the address bar loses focus - but it comes and goes in waves. I can list the extensions I have installed if that's OK - not sure the best way to do so (ID or Title?) and if that's OK because they're mostly internal.

No need to list your extensions. We have a handle on this issue; see bug 846639 . |
