Printing html dev to a PVC card blurring, but it's not when using another browser "Edge"!!

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. User access "http://jsfiddle.net/lalu050/9ttLueng/" using chrome 2. connect to a PVC card printer "Fargo hdp 8500" 3. Click Print, the result on card is poor resolution. do the previous steps using MS edge browser it will print with better result What is the expected behavior? the printing should show the text without blurring What went wrong? the printing shows the text with blurring in the attachment, the left card is from chrome and the right from edge Did this work before? No Chrome version: 67.0.3396.87 Channel: n/a OS Version: 8 Flash Version: please support asap

As TE team do not have PVC card printer "Fargo hdp 8500" printer tested the issue with HP Laserjet M4345 mfp PCL6 printer available with us and issue is not reproducible here. No blurring of text is seen as shown in screenshot in comment#0. As TE do not have PVC card printer adding TE-Hardware-Dependency label for further investigation from dev team. Thanks!

Does this problem happen with any other printer? It may be very difficult to fix this without access to the PVC card printer if it is printer specific. |
