Scroll direction is different for different mice. I have a Logitech Performance MX which scrolls down when I scroll the mouse wheel towards me with reverse scrolling off in the settings. However, my Logitech MX Master scrolls the opposite direction with reverse scrolling off.
I should note that the MX Master is connected through bluetooth whereas the Performance MX is connected through the USB dongle.
Steps To Reproduce:
(1) Make sure reverse scrolling is off.
(2) Connect Performance MX mouse and verify that rotating the mouse wheel towards you causes the page to scroll down.
(3) Connect the MX Master mouse and verify that rotating the mouse wheel towards you causes the page to scroll up.
Expected Result: The MX Master should scroll the page down with reverse scrolling is off.
Actual Result: The MX Master mouse scrolls the page up with reverse scrolling off.
How frequently does this problem reproduce? Always
What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?
Workaround is to set reverse scrolling every time you change the mouse.
