David, Dylan just confirmed that audio will be available in M70. Are we going to turn on video with no audio in M69? 

There's not really a way to prevent video. We don't support accelerated video decode and there's not plans for that, but if an app decides to use sw video decode and present that output, then there's not much we can do to prevent that.

$ gst-launch-1.0 playbin video-sink=waylandsink uri=file:///path/to/video.mp4

can be used to verify that efficient sw decode video playback works.
