Status area improvements with ChromeVox needed (touch) |
||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionOS: Chrome 68.0.3440.25 When using ChromeVox and touch, there are some issues with the status area. 1. When you use touch exploration (which has some issues itself, see 853591), then you hear some verbalizations just of "image". I see that the rotate icon for landscape/portrait is unlabeled and just says "image" and is not verbalized as a button. Similarly, when you touch explore and focus the profile picture which you should then be able to tap to open the menu, you just hear "unknown". This needs a label and should be a button. 2. When you use linear swiping to get through the icons in that area, not all are available in linear order. The rotate screen button is not there -- it's only available through touch exploring it, but needs to be in the linear order. The linear swipe order should follow visual order. @Omri/Zach, can you help to triage?

I think this is a tts related bug. Those images that have verbalization of "image" are not meant to be focused, and tab-cycle and search - left, right handles this probably. dtseng@ - thoughts? I also tried #2 and it doesn't seem to be problematic on the new unified system tray.
