Issue descriptionChrome Version: 67.0.3396.79 (Official Build) (64-bit) OS: Linux What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Navigate to https://jsfiddle.net/etk5rLwa/ (2) Select some text What is the expected result? Selection highlight should cover selected text exactly, and text outside hightlight should remain unchanged. What happens instead? Selection highlight covers a shorter range, and some text outside selection highlight disappears. See attached screenshot.

I guess root cause is we're painting selection on text rectangle before first-line style is applied. |
