Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.87 Safari/537.36 Example URL: https://jsfiddle.net/etk5rLwa/ Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Into a paragraph, put a line of text with two consecutive spaces between any words. 2. With CSS, set p:first-line with text-transform: uppercase. What is the expected behavior? Normal text reading. What went wrong? The words between the two spaces collapse. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 67.0.3396.87 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Also, setting text-transform as lowercase the text does not collapse but the two spaces are visible.

I suggest fixing the space-disappearing problem first then we can fix the clip rect. That way we'll have accurate layout info when testing the clip. So assign it back to Blink>Paint once the space issue is fixed (it seems that might be easier to fix, too).
