CSS Pseudoelement :first-line with text-transform in a line with two consecutive spaces breaks the text

Reported by desarrol...@gmail.com, Jun 19 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.87 Safari/537.36

Example URL:
https://jsfiddle.net/etk5rLwa/

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Into a paragraph, put a line of text with two consecutive spaces between any words.
2. With CSS, set p:first-line with text-transform: uppercase.

What is the expected behavior?
Normal text reading.

What went wrong?
The words between the two spaces collapse.

Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 67.0.3396.87 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version:

Also, setting text-transform as lowercase the text does not collapse but the two spaces are visible.

Confirmed in 69.0.3452.0 and 67.0.3396.87. Looks like there's at least two issues here:

1) Using an incorrect clip, resizing the window width causes the line of text to be clipped mid-line. This appears to be worse in 67 as both lines are clipped and the clip changes erratically

2) Incorrect spacing between "This" and "Line" on the first line

I suggest fixing the space-disappearing problem first then we can fix the clip rect. That way we'll have accurate layout info when testing the clip.

So assign it back to Blink>Paint once the space issue is fixed (it seems that might be easier to fix, too).
Selection painting is also broken on it... Filed crbug.com/854281.
