Project Member Reported by craigtumblison@chromium.org, Jun 18 2018

Issue description

Chrome Version: 69.0.3462.0
OS Version: OS X 10.13.5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a video file using the Chrome HTML5 player.
2. Attempt to download the file using the download button.
3. Find that the button is now behind an overflow menu.

What is the expected result?
Download button is present in the player control area.

What happens instead of that?
It's behind an overflow menu.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

This appears to be part of the #enable-modern-media-controls flag. We're seeing some user feedback about this:

Thanks!

Able to reproduce the issue on chrome reported version 69.0.3462.0 using Mac 10.13.5, Windows-10 and Ubuntu 14.04. This issue is seen from introduction of #modern-media-controls flag enabled from M-64 milestone. Hence considering this issue as Non-Regression and marking it as Untriaged.

Thanks!
#2: Thanks!

After some more digging on our side, it looks like this flag may have began to roll out more on M67, resulting in the feedback.

Thanks for forward this report. The button is on purpose in the overflow menu. We will take this feedback into consideration for future iterations but given that it was intentional, I will close this as WontFix.
