Description:
The FR for LBS is to allow users to turn off redirection from Chrome to IE. Continue to enforce IE to Chrome by policy but allow the users to override cases where the user can stay in Chrome rather than be redirected to IE.
The desired granularity for this capability would be at the URL level for where the user doesn't want the redirect back to IE.
Use case:
While moving users to Chrome while supporting IE predominantly -- the URL's that are used by the Site Mode list might actually work in Chrome as well as IE. Giving the users the choice to override the policy that moves the user to IE will provide a better user experience and also help IT Admins to better understand which URL's can work in Chrome and adjust IE whitelist to only those sites that require legacy plug-ins that only work in IE.
Motivation:
To allow users to override the Chrome redirection to IE would allow users to stay within Chrome.
Existing workarounds:
[Note any workarounds that are available in the product today.]
Today users have no way to override LBS policy pushing them to IE.
