New top chrome UI - confusion when trying to switch profiles. |

Issue descriptionNew tab button has moved to the location of the profile switcher. I went to the hotdog menu, expecting to be able to switch between profiles there, but also didn't see the option to do so. Eventually I realized that the "Window" dropdown in main menu can be used to do so, but until then I was quite confused [I actually thought that I had lost all my other profiles].

The profile switcher has moved from the tabstrip to the toolbar as part of the design refresh. The functionality is the same. Is the issue about the new location or something missing/broken with the implementation?

I can't find the profile switcher in the toolbar, [where is it supposed to be?], I'm going to guess implementation bug.

The profile switcher is left of the Chrome 3-dot menu.

This is wai as per design. Thank you for the feedback, Erik. We are doing two UXR studies to make sure this is not a widely seen problem. Closing for now for triage purposes. |
