Steps to reproduce:
(1) Open tab switcher
(2) select a tab

Expected result:
I expected the gif to be slower than the actual app, but this is about real time speed. It should be much faster or the animation should be removed entirely, it's very distracting.

Actual result:
Look at the bottom right tab (Google Canada logo).  While it's expanding, the logo jumps at the last second from the middle of the screen to the top (where it is in the fullscreen view).  It would be much cleaner to just fully expand it without an animation.
