Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.17 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. use chrome for more day 2. search specific search engine What is the expected behavior? easy access to 'My added Search engine'; never auto add search engine! What went wrong? Very long list of site proposing a research, which I have and I will never need !! SPAM! difficult to search the link for the JP WHOIS search site; and because it's easier to search favorites, this omnibox feature is dead! too much spam Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 68.0.3440.17 Channel: beta OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: it will be nice to have a tip to access the search engine from the omnibox when we do not know the shortcut that we have defined. And no longer add this search engine SPAM that will never be used with omnibox.

and thank you for respecting RGPD; I allowed Google to store / sync my favorite search engines; but I never allowed to store all the engines of the sites I visited. Worse, each deletion and re-recorded at each site visit (remove facebook search, it is restored when open facebook.com!) please respect privacy, and restore the previous good omnibox search function. and please note that I prefer to search 'facebook.com Lorraine Foux' with google directly from the omnibox rather than doing a search on facebook.com of 'Lorraine Foux' Chrome corrected in these first version, what everyone blamed on IE with the autocompletition of the url .. Chrome is doing worse than MS.

Hi, 'TE end' is ? I added fast screencast (new chrome session) for facebook.com Lorraine foux example search and another screencast for problem can't remove it.. auto added again when refresh facebook.com (and without use search box in facebook.com; and even if I use it, I do not want to add to Chrome.) why not just let users disable this automatic addition of search engines. (This is exactly the same as for the NAME / FIRSTNAME / PHONE ... addresses that are added automatically and can not be deactivated independently of the automatic entry) Or possible by GPO? same as I use for disable disk cache thanks |
